R.E.M. seems decided to follow the Nine Inch Nails path. The band will release their new album, “Accelerate” online, on ilike.com, a week before it gets in the record stores, on April 1. The band’s fans will be able to stream and share the new tracks. “It was one of those ideas that was presented to us and it seemed like a good one.”, Michael Stipe says.
