Here’s a rumor that we told you about a while ago, that is now confirmed. Many of you metalheads going to Sziget this year will be happy to hear that Meshuggah will play this year’s Sziget Festival. The news is confirmed on their official site. Meshuggah will play Sziget on August 16th.

Dancehall reggae artist Ziggi will be at Sziget this year. Ziggi will play Sziget on the 15th of August, at the Main Stage.

Thanks to our reader Hugo Renken, we found out that Little Cow, a very interesting Hungarian band, will be at Sziget this year. It is confirmed on their MySpace page (visit it to check out their songs). They will play Sziget on August 13th, starting at 23:00 hours, on the Aranyi Aszok Stage.

Update: Jose Gonzales will be playing Sziget on August 17th, according to his MySpace page. Thanx Hugo for the heads-up!

More good news on the confirmed artists front. Swedish singer-songwriter of Argentinian descent Jose Gonzalez will play Sziget Festival this year. We don’t have a date for his concert yet, but the French Sziget site has a temporary programme of the acts, that you can take a look at here.
