According to the rumor mill at fm-r.info, parisian band the Naive New Beaters will play a whole lot of festivals this year, including Sziget Festival. For more information about them, check out their website.
According to La Depeche, Les Touffes Kretiennes, the “fuckin’ funky brass band”, as they call themselves, will play Sziget Festival 2009 as part of their current European tour in support of their first album. The date is not yet confirmed on their official site, but you can visit it to find out more about them.
Another day, another official artist confirmation for this year’s Sziget Festival. French metallers Dagoba will play Sziget Festival 2009 on August 12, probably at the Hammerworld Stage. The information is confirmed on Base Productions‘ (their booking agency) website.

Kings of Leon have already announced a few European summer festival dates for this year, but nothing for August yet. Their official site also mentions that they will announce more European festival dates for this summer soon. We do hope that Sziget will be among those festivals. Cross your fingers, everyone!
The very interesting and experimental French band Speed Caravan have joined Sziget Festival 2009′s line-up, according to their MySpace page. Speed Caravan will play Sziget on August 15.
