Anyone thinking of Budapest for a few days, we had a really nice few days at Haller Camping. I’d highly recommend it to anyone heading to Budapest.
Free washing machines (3) which was a major highlight for us after a month of touring!
5 minute walk to Metro and 5 minute walk to large shopping mall.
Within the campground so many small things had been carefully thought out which inspired me to write a quick note recommending it.
Showers & toilets were well maintained & clean. Lots of space, over 200 pitches.

Per night price for 2 people & tent is 5300 HUF which is roughly €18.
BONUS: Every 4th night is free.
The young guys operating the campground are extremely polite and helpful with excellent English.

Address: Haller Camping, Haller utca 27. Budapest 1096 Hungary.

Some more interesting names are confirmed for this year’s Sziget Festival.

First, there’s Oana Catalina Chitu & Bucharest Tango. They play Romanian Tango as played in Bucharest cafes and parks, restaurants and clubs across the 1930s. Oana Catalina Chitu  and her musicians combine the lost tango songs of that era with the folk ballads of Maria Tanase (the Romanian Piaf). They will play Sziget on August 12, as confirmed on their official site. If you want to check out some of the songs, just go here.

Then, also on August 12, you can see Martin Wenk, a very interesting German musician. The date is confirmed on his MySpace, where you can also check out one of his songs.

The last act is AGA, an Italian DJ, set to play Sziget on August 12, according to his MySpace page.
