The French official Facebook page confirms another very interesting name for this year’s Sziget Festival (thanks Szigetist, Nega and jannis). German indie-rock band The Notwist will play at this year’s Sziget Festival.
Another day, another confirmation. Revelstone, a very interesting band with its HQ in Pecs, Hungary, will play the Rock Stage. Some more interesting names are confirmed for this year’s Sziget Festival. First, there’s Oana Catalina Chitu & Bucharest Tango. They play Romanian Tango as played in Bucharest cafes and parks, restaurants and clubs across the 1930s. Another new band is confirmed for this year’s Sziget Festival. Szigetnews friend Roy Dendro is telling us that Vive la fete have confirmed their playing at this year’s Sziget Festival on August 13. The date is confirmed on their site(tour section) and MySpace.
Australian band Jet are confirmed on their MySpace for this year’s Sziget Festival (thanks, Mellowmaniac). Jet will play on August 14, possibly on the main stage or on the rock stage.
According to the Official French Facebook Sziget site, a new act has been confirmed for this year’s Sziget Festival. French ska and reggae group Babylon Circus are confirmed to play at the WAN2 stage of this year’s festival on August 15.
According to the official Hungarian site, some more interesting acts are set to play at this year’s Meduza Stage. British DJ Andrew Weatherall, audio-visual artists Addictive TV , along with Mete & Ali, are scheduled, together with MC Sgt Pokes, Mala, L’Oeuf Raide, Zôl and Interlope, that Szigetnews already told you about.
