According to their official MySpace page, Hungarian ska band Skafunderz will play Sziget 2009. More so, the August 12 performance is listed on the same MySpace as a Main Stage one (but, as our friend Mellowmaniac says, it may well be at the Hungarian main stage – MR2).
And since we’re on the ska front, we also want to tell you that Antwerp Gispy Ska Orchestra will play the roma Tent on August 14, according to their official website.

First of all, the bad news. The Kills are officially cancelled, according to the official Dutch site.
Then, the (possibly) good news. Deftones are listed on last.fm as playing Sziget Festival this year, and the news is coming from Life of Agony’s site (a band that’s been confirmed for a while now), that says, on the Sziget Festival date – “W/Faith No More, Turbonegro, Deftones”. Let’s hope this confirms.
