Flu prevention measures taken at Sziget 2009

Organisers of this year’s Sziget will provide a clinic specialising in respiratory problems on-site, as well as a round-the-clock pharmacy for those who might feel unwell during the week-long event, Hungarian Health Minister Tamas Szekely and head of the festival Karoly Gerendai told reporters on Monday, according to caboodle.hu. Vive la fete cancelled!

Unfortunately, due to guitarist Danny suffering a serious motorcycle accident, Vive la fete’s performance at Sziget Festival 2009 was cancelled, according to their official website.

Babyshambles and Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly confirmed!

Two more important names are confirmed for this year’s Sziget Festival, according to Rock Blog, quoting the Official Hungarian Site. Pete Doherty hasn’t reunited The Libertines, but the next best thing will be at Sziget Festival 2009 on Day Zero – Babyshambles.
