Manic Street Preachers, Primal Scream, The Offspring, Faith No More, Placebo, Pendulum, Buena Vista Social Club, Junkies, Haydamaky,IAMX, Tricky, Danko Jones …
I think that this isn’t the final line-up! 😉 Good work, but some things are not updated – like the program for the Party Arena (Jose Padilla on the 12th and 808 State on the 13th). But if they are right with the times of the 11th it should be possible to see Miles From India and the LMHR Allstars, because they will not play at the same time (what would be a big relief for me personally).
BTW: my schedule (I know it’s a little bit over ambitious): 12.08.: IAMX, Nouvelle Vague, The Moog, Miloopa, Oi Va Voi, Lily Allen, White Lies, Junkies, Jacked 13.08.: Gonzo, The Carbonfools, Blasted Mechanism, 808 State, Bloc Party, Orquestra BVS Club, Tricky, Colorstar 14.08. Revelstone, Jet, Primal Scream, Pendulum, Prodigy, La Fur Dels Baus, Eric Sumo Band 15.08. The Subways, Editors, Klaxons, Crystal Method, Manic Street Preachers, Khaled, Babylon Circus, Andrew Weatherall, The Kolin 16.08.: Disco Ensemble, Danko Jones, Maximo Park, Heaven Street Seven, Faith No More, Squarepusher, Korai Öröm,
Does anyone know the last two (big) names on day zero?!?!? 7 day to go and no news yet….. cheers and c u soon
There will be no more “big names” for Day Zero! The LMHR Allstars announced one or two additional special guests for their performance, but these will be performers joining them for a song or two… I don’t know if here are some people interested in Jazz, but for those it might be interesting that the line-up of Miles From India changed: Bill Evans seem to have pulled out of the line-up and Robert Irving III is replaced by Adam Holzman (who also was a Miles Davis keyboarder).
The Dutch site rockblog.nl announces that Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and Babyshambles performe on Day Zero. Link: http://www.rockblog.nl/news/sziget-day-zero-namen and http://www.sziget.hu/fesztival/hirek/megakoncert_a_sokszinuseg_mellett.961.html
At least, Mellowmaniac, we have to meet somewhere, because I’ll be at almost exactly the same acts 😀
@Timm: The original text says that the LMHR Allstars are with members of Get Cape,.. and of Babyshambles.
Also Viva La Fete seem to have canceled their Sziget show! At least they are not listed in the program on the official Sziget site anymore!
