Two more important names are confirmed for this year’s Sziget Festival, according to Rock Blog, quoting the Official Hungarian Site. Pete Doherty hasn’t reunited The Libertines, but the next best thing will be at Sziget Festival 2009 on Day Zero – Babyshambles.
Also confirmed are Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly.(thanks, Timm)

The Hungarian site says: “The members of GCWCF or B with their extemporal band will give a concert.”
Too bad that Babyshambles will not be there as the group Babyshambles. Other news: the Belgian group Vive La Fête has cancelled there gig at Sziget, due to a motorcycle accident of the guitarist Danny Mommens.
And I wanted to see Vive la Fête. Damn unqualified motorcyclists.

Since I’ll already arrive on the campsite at the 8th, for some pre-Sziget entertainment I’d like to visit the football match between Honved Budapest and Panathinaikos on the 9th of august. Could anyone speaking Hungarian see on http://honvedfc.hu how I can get tickets for this and at what price? Any help greatly appreciated, anyone else like to come along btw?

Make sure you get tickets anywhere the home supporters don’t sit. Hungarian supporters can be a bit rough…
