For those of you who don’t know, Balaton Sound is Sziget’s EDM-focused “little sister” festival. Each summer, it gathers tens of thousands of party people from all over the world for a five-day party on the shores of one of the biggest natural pools in Europe, lake Balaton.

Next year, the DJ booths will be fired up in Zamádi on the 8th of July, and everyone around will have the chance to party hard until the 12th. The first performers will be announced on the 10th of December, with the event’s “Early bird” ticket sale will start on the 11th.

Balaton Sound is one of Sziget’s sister festivals taking place in Zamárdi, Hungary, since 2007. The event stretches over a weekend and is focused especially on electronic music, especially EDM. It routinely books some of the most popular DJs and electronic music acts, ranging from Kraftwerk and the late Avicii to Calvin Harris, Moby, Orbital, the Chainsmokers, and Tiesto.
