30 Seconds to Mars, Calvin Harris, Nina Hagen & more confirmed!

More interesting acts have just been confirmed on the official Sziget site, through a press release. Probably the most important for a lot of you would be 30 Seconds to Mars. This will be good news for a lot of people that wanted them very much to play this year's Sziget Festival. Metal fans will be happy to hear about Fear Factory and Kamelot. Two more main stage dates

Thanks to our friend Mellowmaniac, we know two more main stage dates for this year's Sziget Festival. You can already see them in the updated lineup page. So, K.I.Z. will play the Sziget 2010 Main Stage on August 12 (according to their website and MySpace page). Mellowmaniac also found out from Subsonica's management that they will play the Main Stage on August 14.

Vive La Fete @ Sziget Festival 2010!

After having to cancel last year's appearance due to their guitarist's motorcycle accident, Belgian band Vive LA Fete will make it up to Sziget fans. They will play Sziget Festival 2010, according to the Vive La Fete MySpace page. Vive La Fete are set to play Sziget Festival 2010 on August 13. (our thanks go to Mellowmaniac)

Another officially confirmed act: Baskerville

The official Dutch site lists another new and very interesting act for this year's Sziget line-up. We're talking about Dutch band Baskerville, set to play the Meduza stage this year. According to our friend Zmeer, "This is a very interesting project from 2 producers from Haarlem, The Netherlands, who are bringing a sound influenced by electro, hiphop, funk and rock. In April their first single "Ready To Blow" feat. Bob Rogers will be released." More details about them can be found on the Baskerville official website.

Muse, Iron Maiden Kasabian, Billy Talent & much more @ Sziget 2010

(this post is updated constantly) The first official line-up announcement has just been posted on the official Hungarian website. The first two very important names are ones that we all suspected - Muse and Iron Maiden!!! Next come more important names:  Kasabian, Billy Talent, The Specials and Gorrillaz Sound System. Happy hardcore band Enter Shikari and Infected Mushroom (that Sziget News found out about some time ago) will also be there. Gotan project self-confirmed for the Sziget 2010 lineup

This just in: another great name has self-confirmed its presence ofr this year's Sziget Festival. Gotan Project have self-confirmed their presence for this year's Sziget Festival on their official MySpace page. Their interesting brand of music, mixing tango with other genres, will surely be a great addition to this year's festival. Gotan Project are set to play at Sziget Festival 2010 on August 13. What's even nicer is that they will promote their new album, that will be out on April 19th.

Oi Va Voi self-confirmed for Sziget Festival 2010

siraic, one of our Twitter followers (by the way, if you're not following us on Twitter, you can do so by clicking here) gave us some very interesting news today. Oi Va Voi, an act that played Sziget's World Music Stage in 2009, too, will be headlining the said stage this year, too. Their presence is self-confimed on their iLike page. Oi Va Voi are set to play Sziget on August 13.

Hudaki, Klezmofobia self-confirmed for Sziget 2010

A few more interesting acts have confirmed their presence at this year's Sziget Festival via their websites or MySpace pages. First, there's Hudaki, from Nizhne Selyshe, Ukraine. Their presence is confirmed on their official website and you can check out their MySpace for a few songs. They play great traditional music, straight from the Carpathians! Then, there's Klezmofobia, a band that calls its music "New York Klezmer". Their presence is confirmed on the Klezmofobia official website. Also self confirmed on their MySpace pages are two Hungarian acts, Gyongyi Salla (for August 12) and Dalkloid Sound (August 13) (thanks, chudo_pahan)
