Sziget Passes to be Sold Out by the End of June

sziget passes to be sold out soon

95% of the seven-day Sziget passes the 2016 edition have been sold, and they continue to sell like hot cakes, according to the event's lead organizer, Gerendai Károly. If they continue to be this popular, all of them might be gone by the end of June. If this happens, Sziget will only be able to offer its visitors day passes from there on, Gerendai said. By comparison, for last year's event, the five and seven-day passes have been sold out by the beginning of August. Sziget passes still available for individual days Day passes are still available in large numbers, he said,

Sziget NL announced several Dutch acts to be added to the Sziget 2016 lineup today. All of them will perform on the Europe Stage. Without further ado, here are the names. Europe Stage John Coffey is a Dutch punk rock/post hardcore band, influenced by bands like Refused, The Ghost of a Thousand or Every Time I Die. The band name was borrowed from the 1999 movie The Green Mile, written by Stephen King and directed by Frank Darabont. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=351cf8os7PQ The band released a new album last year, called The Great News, and a fresh EP, A House for Three, last year. Non-Musical Programs at Sziget 2016

non-musical programs

In the last few weeks, we've seen lots of exciting - and perhaps not so exciting - acts announced to perform on one of Sziget 2016's stages. But let's not forget that Sziget is not just another music festival. This year, just like in the past, they will offer their visitors a variety of non-musical programs to attend, all adding the now legendary "Sziget feeling". Here they are. Transe Express - Mù Transe Express is a popular street theater group from France, with two previous performances at Sziget (in 2006 and 2007). This year they will return to the "stage" with Mù,

The Chemical Brothers record

This year Sziget will last for seven days - five full days, plus the Day -1 and the Day Zero - but from Wednesday to Wednesday, just like in the old times. The event's organizers will try to top last year's atmosphere, focus more on environmental awareness, hygiene, visuals and the quality of services. The event, considered Hungary's top tourist attraction, will guarantee the safety of their visitors coming from all over the world - and is expected to be sold out completely. And it has gotten a brand new anthem, Be With You, by Toldi Miklós and Odett. https://youtu.be/yIklabH5gQc Prepare for

Legends, big returners, and fresh performances - this is the tagline of today's Sziget announcement. And the names confirm the title: Die Antwoord, Skunk Anansie, Afrojack, DVBBS, Zedd, Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg, Carnage, and Troyboi were announced to play at Sziget 2016. Die Antwoord on Day -1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyJfKwcIDUg Three of the freshly announced bands will play on Day -1: Die Antwoord, Skunk Anansie, and Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg.
