Sziget tickets are already available through Sziget partners all over Europe. The list of these partners can be found here. Also, the central webshop on the Sziget website will open on November 7, so you will be able to get your ticket from there, too. Nothing in the Sziget 2013 lineup yet, but we’re sure things will start popping up soon enough… And don’t forget to make accommodation reservations while you’re at it, so you can get the best price.

Last year, it has won the Best Major Festival award and, with your vote, it could do well this year, too. Another festival by the Sziget organizers, Balaton Sound, is another entry in the competition. You can vote until November 7 here and win tickets to each one of the winning festivals. The top 10 festivals in each category will be announced on November 12 and the ceremony in which the winners will be announced is set to take place in January.
Danakil ft. Natty Jean official artists confirmed sziget sziget 2012 sziget festival April 24, 2012July 27, 20135 The Sziget UK website lists a new act, apart from the ones already announced yesterday, as part of the Sziget 2012 lineup. One of the contributors of our friends at the German Sziget board has noticed a rather interesting reply to a comment on the official Rotfront Facebook. When asked whether they would come to Sziget this year, the answer from the band (in German) was “most likely”, as you can see below. Hopefully, this confirms.

A band that some of you have said you wanted to play Sziget this year has self-confirmed its presence. The Ting Tings will play Sziget Festival 2012, according to the tour dates page on their official MySpace. According to that same source, they will be at Sziget 2012 on August 12. Until now, August will also be the day for performances by Mando Diao, The Subways, as well as Magnetic Man. The Ting Tings have played Sziget Festival before, in 2009. (thanks, mellowmaniac!)

The announcement also adds Magnetic Man. LMFAO are not in it, though.
