Hanggai confirmed for Sziget Festival 2009

As our friend Tijn telles us, Hanggai, a Chinese band that plays Mongolian folk music, have just confirmed themselves for Sziget Festival 2009 on their official website. They will most certainly play the World Music Main Stage. They will play Sziget on August 16.

The first names for the World Music Stage

The first confirmed names for Sziget 2009′s World Music Stage are already here. We’re talking about Roy Paci, Frank London and Boban Markovic . Check out each of the links for more details about them. They will play Sziget on August 16, at 10:00 PM.

Carl Cox at Sziget 2008

Good news for all of you planning to go to Sziget and dance all night. Sziget Festival’s Spanish site confirms Carl Cox turning the tables at the Party Arena on the 15th. Also mentioned is Kymani Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, who will be playing the festival’s World Music Stage.
