John doe… Any idea about the announcement of the first names? I was expecting some “first names next week” with the release of the Aftermovie but nothing came!
The aftermovie was ready a long time ago but they had some copyright problem… i’m sure it was Macklemore who was bitching (and he got 2 songs and one at the end) 😛 anyway… finally here, didn’t see myself but it’s okay it’s fabulous (maybe not as much as the 2013 but still gives chills). I’m all ear to you, John!
if the line-up will be so electro and dj minded, it will not be my seventh sziget in 2015. for gods sake, give some rock and metal. it was not the sziget, I’m used to, last year. one guy standing on the main stage? boring shit…
We had some pretty cool rock bands this year… I’ve enjoyed a lot the circle pits during Anti-Flag and NOFX. Besides, we had some big names like Blink, QOTSA, Placebo and Korn (all Headline material). I was happy with the mix but they shouldn’t go more DJ you’re right.
Yes, I’m very happy with QOTSA. Placebo was already third time there with me, so it actually doesn’t count any more:) also have seen Korn before, but that’s my problem, of course:) and over and over again – manic street preachers, madness, prodigy.
The only clues we have so far are the Highfield (Germany, 14-16 august) and Reading (UK, 28-29-30 august). The acts worth mentionning are Dropkick Murphy/Interpol/Metallica/Jamie T/ Refused. Also, Basement Jaxx is in the UK on 29-30 august. Don’t forget Linkin Park that might be announced for Rock’n Heim (or Highfield, a supposed leak from Eventim had announced them the 14 of august in Germany). Can’t contain my excitement!!!
Sorry for the double post but something worth mentionning: Florence + The Machine announced 1hour ago for Way Out West festival (UK, 13-15 august). Would she headline Sziget?
I would love Alt-J but please not The Black Keys… at least not as headliners! Linkin Park and Florence + 1 big DJ (Kygo!!) for the first announcement and i’ll be happy.

Wow thanks! Where did you see that? I think that Hardwell or Avicii could close the main stage on the sunday. Ok, maybe Avicii for the End Show and The Chemical Brothers for the Opening Show. Florence for sure and maybe Lenny Kravitz. I’d add Kasabian to the list. They’re playing in Spain at the end of July and have no dates before that.

How likely are Imagine Dragons to come back as they’ve just announced a new album for next year? They’ve played the 17.45 slot on the main stage, they could be bumped up for the 19.30 slot ?
