Here is one piece of news we’ve missed during the busy holiday season: Italian folk artist Luca Bassanese announced, in the second half of December, that he will have a live show at Sziget 2019. Expect the artist (and the band “Piccola Orchestra Popolare”) to take the stage on the 10th of August. There is no word on which stage he will take and at what time.
Here is him performing at the Paléo Festival Nyon in 2018:
Luca Bassanese wears several hats: he is a singer, songwriter, actor, writer, and musician in one. Over the years, he has won several awards as a musician, including the MEI (Independent Labels Meeting) Plate for
the safeguard of Italian folk music with particular reference to the environmental, cultural, and social sustainability issues (thus, he will be a perfect fit for Sziget’s message).
The artist has released his latest album called “Colpiscimi felicità” in 2017.
