   Radiohead do not play Festival de Nimes, they play in Nimes but not at the festival. And a Spanish festival (I think it was Bilbao BBK) said that theyre a Spanish exclusive (with Portugal, I guess) :/ But I pray for them to come

   This is just a list with bands “available” for the Sziget festival… It doesn’t mean that most of these bands will be booked or that these bands will represent the program.

   The Sziget promoters will book a lot of bands no one can expect yet – and there will be lot’s of surprises.

   Due to the financial situation in Hungary right now no one knows if the budget (in Euros/GBP/$) will stay the same or if they will have to downsize the booking… Even though Sziget is the only Hungarian festival not entirely depending on the Forint.

   Skrillex is confirmed for VOLT. VOLT, Balaton Sound and Sziget are done by the same company and in 99% of all cases the bands (especially the headliners) are exclusive to one of the three…

   Justice is possible! They are also confirmed for Optimus Alive on 13.07.

   Ah, it’s the time of the year for the list of Sziget rumours by Mellowmaniac… Looking back at last years list, I see only 3 of 28 acts actually performed at Sziget. I don’t say I can do any better, but I think this is non-news.

    Nothing exceptional here, Sziget will have to add something different to stand out from the crowd. Anniversary Edition should definitely outshine this meager list!

    What about Coldplay? I think sziget will have this year a huge strong line-up because they are celebrating 20 years of sziget.

    These acts are not rumours… The only rumour so far is Bat For Lashes!

    It’s just a list of bands being on tour at about the time of Sziget and therfor being a more realistic base for speculation than discussing bands which have all their dates so far in the early summer or have not a single European date confirmed (yet).

    The list is work in progress and changes whenever there are new confirmations at European festivals (additons, but also bands that can be ruled out by new confirmations). Right now I think the list is only interesting in the headliner department, because only very few non-headliners are confirmed for August yet. It will get more interesting in March when more bands for August festivals are confirmed.

    BTW: The 2011 list was posted AFTER the first announcement and 9 bands from the list of speculations (which was and is posted and updated on the German board!) were already confirmed and deleted from the list at the time….

    I can’t believe that they booked Placebo AGAIN, but they seem to be incredibly popular in Hungary…

    Btw: I would say that at least two of the bands on your list will be confirmed for Sziget…!
