Sziget and Budapest have reached an agreement

UPDATE: MTI and Trademagazin say that the price Sziget will pay is 50 million euros (around 184,000 Euro).

Great news from the official Sziget site. All the worries are now gone,as the organizers and the city of Budapest have reached an agreement. Things will go just as planned, and we are set to have a great festival this year! The full article can be read here.


Bloomberg says that an agreement has been reached for a fee of around 150 million forint (roughly 550.000 Euro).

The article from the official site also says that new services for a reduced price, including public transport and visiting the Turkish spas of Budapest, will be available.
