Tim Bergling, better known by his stage name Avicii, was found dead today in Oman, according to an announcement made by the DJ's publicist. It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given. This doesn't come as a surprise for those following his career closely - he has been diagnosed with pancreatitis years ago, a condition due at least in part

Sziget 2016 Tickets to Go on Sale in November

Sziget Festival will return next year between the 10th and the 17th of August - this we already knew. What we didn't know - and has been confirmed by Sziget's official Twitter feed - that the tickets for Sziget 2016 will become available this November. The festival's organizers haven't revealed the exact date yet. Sziget is preparing the list of performers who will be on stage during next year's event. The festival is considering the playlists of its fans, discovering new talent from around the world as we speak. In the meantime, the festival has gathered two nominations at the European Festival

Sziget is competing in the European Festival Awards again this year. Last year, it has won the Best Major Festival award and, with your vote, it could do well this year, too. Another festival by the Sziget organizers, Balaton Sound, is another entry in the competition. You can vote until November 7 here and win tickets to each one of the winning festivals. The top 10 festivals in each category will be announced on November 12 and the ceremony in which the winners will be announced is set to take place in January.
