Sziget Festival has received appreciation for its environmental efforts at Greener Festival Awards. The ceremony taking place in Groningen, the Netherlands, has appreciated the green activities that Sziget organizers have undertaken.Among these, according to Budapest Business Journal, quoting a press release from the Sziget organizers, were "efficient water use, low carbon emissions, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and serving the needs of performers in a more sustainable way". It's good to see that, apart from offering great fun for those attending, Sziget puts an emphasis on something as essential as protecting the planet.
This year Sziget will last for seven days - five full days, plus the Day -1 and the Day Zero - but from Wednesday to Wednesday, just like in the old times. The event's organizers will try to top last year's atmosphere, focus more on environmental awareness, hygiene, visuals and the quality of services. The event, considered Hungary's top tourist attraction, will guarantee the safety of their visitors coming from all over the world - and is expected to be sold out completely. And it has gotten a brand new anthem, Be With You, by Toldi Miklós and Odett. https://youtu.be/yIklabH5gQc Prepare for
