Great acts in the first official Sziget 2011 lineup announcement

The first Sziget announcement is here, and it's a fantastic one. It's already on the official site, so check it out here. As we already told you yesterday, TriggerFinger, Dizee Rascal, Chemical Brothers and Pulp are part of it. But the announcement contains many more great bands. On the Pop-Rock main stage, we'll also have Smash Mouth, Rise Against (finally - any have wished for them in the past few years), Flogging Molly, Interpol, The National (we told you about them yesterday), as well as the returning Gogol Bordello. The all-new Europe Stage will have performances by Verdena and Sohne Mannheims, while the World

Gotan Project now officially confirmed!

Something that Sziget News already told you about a while ago has just been officially confirmed - Gotan Project will take part in Sziget Festival 2010. The news is officially confirmed in this poster on the official Sziget France MySpace page. Even more, we now know that Gotan Project will play the Electro Party Arena. This info is already in our Sziget 2010 lineup page.

Gotan project self-confirmed for the Sziget 2010 lineup

This just in: another great name has self-confirmed its presence ofr this year's Sziget Festival. Gotan Project have self-confirmed their presence for this year's Sziget Festival on their official MySpace page. Their interesting brand of music, mixing tango with other genres, will surely be a great addition to this year's festival. Gotan Project are set to play at Sziget Festival 2010 on August 13. What's even nicer is that they will promote their new album, that will be out on April 19th.
