Official: Korn and NOFX

Korn

Korn and NOFX are the announced names for today, so we were all right. If you remember, john doe has hinted NOFX and Korn has appeared last night on VKontakte. As far as dates go, the official site lists Korn for August 15 and NOFX for August 17. Also announced are The BossHoss and Angel Haze. Another important thing is that the Sziget app is now available. Android and iOS versions are available, so you can have the schedule at your fingertips.

Korn to play Sziget 2012 Main Stage

There were quite a few discussions on Sziget News about this topic – whether Korn would headline the Metal Stage or play the Main Stage. There were opinions on both fronts, but now it’s clear. A user has asked the organizers which stage they would play on the Sziget Festival Official Facebook account, and the answer (in Hungarian) was Main Stage, just as you can see below. That answers a question for many people. (thanks, dakota!)

Korn and dEUS dates for Sziget

Two of the most important bands in the Sziget 2012 lineup so far have posted dates for Sziget on their official sites. Of course, they are in our Sziget 2012 lineup page, that’s constantly updated. According to the official website, Korn will be playing Sziget Festival 2012 on August 9. dEUS will play on August 8, their official website says. (thanks go to ohyeahfestivals)

Official announcement: Magnetic Man added to Korn, Ministry & co.

The Sziget Italia Facebook has posted the official announcement, and it confirms what we told you a little while ago. The announcement also adds Magnetic Man. LMFAO are not in it, though. The list for today is: Korn dEUS The Vaccines Steve Aoki Axwell Magnetic Man Two Door Cinema Club Beatsteaks Caro Emerald Bebel Gilberto Ministry is also posted in the full list they have on the site. The Sziget Festival Official Facebook page says that more names will be announced soon. What do you think of the lineup so far?

Korn, dEUS, LMFAO & more

UPDATE:  Festivalinfo also adds Ministry (but we knew about them for a while), Bebel Gilberto, Axwell and The Vaccines. UPDATE: Sziget Italia says on Facebook that there was a problem and that the official announcement should follow shortly. They also say that some names have already surfaced via unofficial channels. Hopefully, there will be more. Even if the announcement was postponed for another hour, britishrock.cc has managed to get a hold of names to be announced. And it’s quite interesting, if Sziget confirms it. It starts with Korn, continues with dEUS (that we told you about a little while ago) and continues with LMFAO. Then,
