The Roma Tent is coming back for Sziget 2015, which should be good news, as a lot of fun has been had in there. We have received this great news from our friend SkaPanda, who has noticed that Parno Graszt, an act that has been at Sziget before, has announced a Sziget 2015 date. They mention July 16, but it's probably August 16. The even better thing is the location mentioned - the Roma Tent, which makes its comeback.
The Sziget 2013 Roma Tent will be called Yeni Raki, after the world's number 1 aniseed spirit, and will include a host of interesting programs, starting with the constant presence of the Indian Kawa Musical Circus, as well as the pupils of the Snétberger Music Talent Center. An article on the Sziget official website also mentions the program of the venue: August 7 Kawa Musical Circus pupils of the Snétberger Music Talent Center Amarizsi Latcho Drom Mascarimiri DJ No Sikirriki August 8 Kawa Musical Circus pupils of the Snétberger Music Talent Center After Phurikane Kanizsa Csillagai Fanfara Transilvania DJ No Sikirriki August 9 Kawa Musical Circus pupils of the Snétberger Music Talent Center Harmonia Garden Juan de Lerida Tsigunz Fanfara Aventura DJ

First, we have Goulasch Exotica on August 13. The date is confirmed on their official MySpace. Second, there's the band Napra. Both the guitarist - Both Miklos - and the singer - Kinga Kramli - have confirmed the Sziget date on their MySpace pages. Stay tuned for some interesting programme news.

They have an album in the works, that will be available for their first American tour, to happen this fall. This great Hungarian Gypsy band will play the Roma Tent at Sziget 2009, on August 13, starting at 9:30 PM, according to their official MySpace page, on which you can also check out some
The French Sziget site and their Facebook lists another interesting act listed to play Sziget Festival this year - Lord Sassafras. He will play the Roma Tent and is an emblematic character that plays a mix of world music, rock and ethno-techno influences, that he calls "Global Style". More details on his MySpace. UPDATE: also listed on the French site are Amadou et Mariam, a very interesting duo from Mali, that have been around for more than thirty years. Well worth checking out, this is their website. Another announced act (on the French site as well), are Woven Hand, a band that
