Sziget 2014 is a premiere in the history of Budapest's island extravaganza, in the sense that it's the first time ever that the festival is sold out! In terms of weekly passes, that is. There are still daily passes available and the organizers have thought about the people which, for some reason or another, were unable to get their weekly pass. With less than a month until Sziget 2014, some very good news are coming from the organizers.According to an article quoting Sziget main man Karoly Gerendai, this year's island extravaganza has a serious chance of setting new attendance records, after last year's disappointing turnout.362.000 people were at Szigte last year, but this year the organizers have already sold more weekly passes than thorough all of of Sziget 2013. He also said that things have grown 100% in Britain, Germany, France and Italy.Things are going well in Hungary too and Gerendai said that this year's festival could break attendance records.Of course,

Croatian band Puncke is the latest addition to the Sziget 2014 lineup. Puncke have self-confirmed their presence at Sziget 2014 for August 11 on their official Facebook page. They are a Croatian all-girl indie band and they've opened for Queens of the Stone Age. (thanks go to apis!)

Heavy names and schedule tomorrow

According to a post on the official Facebook page, two names with heavy guitars are coming tomorrow. john doe seems to suggest one of them is NOFX, but you can join in on the speculation here in the comments. Ocho Macho self-confirmed for Sziget 2014

Ocho Macho is the latest self-confirmed Hungarian band for Sziget 2014. According to their website, Ocho Macho will be playing Sziget 2014 on August 15. The place will be the Volt Terasz, with the time being 16:50. (thanks go to SkaPanda, the man some call "the king of self-confirmations")
