The Island of Freedom has closed its gates on Sunday night (or Monday morning, depending on how you count the days). This was the 23rd edition of the festival, and it has broken every record on daily and weekly attendance. During the week-long event the number of visitors exceeded 441,000, coming from all over the world. The top ten countries where visitors have come from includes the Netherlands, the UK, France, but also Australia, with more than 1,000 visitors coming from Down Under. The time to purchase Sziget tickets at "early bird" rates has passed. Since August 1st, tickets and passes can only be bought at full price, the Sziget Festival website has announced a few days ago. Still, they say all those interested should buy their tickets and passes ASAP, as the ticket sales are just as fast as last year, when passes ran out a week before the start of the event. This just in (it has been officially confirmed by the Sziget festival website), and the website of the Hegyalja has confirmed it way before Sziget did: Rudimental will occupy the last free spot on Main Stage in the Sziget 2015 lineup. A little change in the lineup of the Sziget Festival 2015: the 3AM spot of the A38 stage on Saturday the 15th was filled by DJ Marky & Stamina MC, followed by Statik (who also performed at VOLT festival last week after Sigma).  The dnb duo has been announced a long time ago - they were to perform after Sigma on Sunday the 16th, but were moved to the 3AM spot on Saturday instead.
