Untold Festival is the biggest EDM event in Romania with a pretty short history (this year, it is at its fifth edition) but already making waves all over the world. Usually held at the beginning of August (this year, it will happen between the 1st and the 4th), the festival attracts hundreds of thousands of participants from all over the world. Its policy of revealing its performers is much different from what we usually see at Sziget – its organizers release the names in big batches, covering everything from headliners to emerging talent. This year, the festival has released its first batch of performers yesterday. Which ones would you like to see play at Sziget 2019?
The Main Stage of this year’s Untold Festival will see quite a few big and well-known names do their thing: Bastille, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, James Arthur, Martin Garrix, Oscar and the Wolf, and Timmy Trumpet.
Its Galaxy Stage will be inhabited by Boris Brejcha, Loco Dice, Solomun, and Tale of Us.
Finally, its Alchemy Stage will have Andy C, Camo & Krooked (live), Chase & Status (DJ Set), Borgore, Pendulum (DJ set) B2B Friction, Rusko, and Sub Focus B2B Wilkinson.
This is only the first of the several other upcoming announcements, with many more names still to come.
Tickets for the 2019 edition of Untold Festival are available at Festicket (along with a handful of local Romanian distributors) at EUR 119 (4-day pass) and EUR 269 (VIP 4-day pass). There are camping options available as well – for more information, see this page.
Untold Festival was first held in 2015 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, the city declared the European Youth Capital that year. Back then, it had 60,000 participants and performers like Armin van Buuren, Avicii, David Guetta, ATB, and many others. At the European Festival Awards 2015, it was declared the Best Major Festival. Since then, it has “grown” a few more stages, and expanded both the number of its visitors and performers.
