Sziget 2014 > Sziget 2015 by now. Only a few good names like Foals, alt-J, Interpol, Jungle and Future Islands.
Headliners problem is not only with Sziget. Today Lowlands has announced new names too and still no headliner announced except The Chemical Brothers. Bad August 2015..
Linkin Park will almost certainly not play Sziget. That’s why they have moved the date of Rock N’ Heim (Germany) – Linkin Park will only arrive in Europe the weekend after Sziget. (Rock N’ Heim was originally planned for the Sziget weekend, now it is a one-day event on the 23th of August) sad news 🙁
i’m hoping (praying) that rock n helm had to change weekends because linkin park was all they could get and they’re playing sziget the weekend it was originally planned for. i simply cannot see linkin park playing smaller cities in eastern europe but skipping over budapest, especially when they had a LP tribute band play there last year! i think the demand is there, and the longer they wait to announce the more surprised people will be.
I think they will be in Japan or America. It would never happen that they are not available for Rock n Heim, but available for Sziget. They could even play both the same weekend, so the only realistic explanation is that they will not be in Europe
