It’s already on the official site, so check it out here. As we already told you yesterday, TriggerFinger, Dizee Rascal, Chemical Brothers and Pulp are part of it. But the announcement contains many more great bands. On the Pop-Rock main stage, we’ll also have Smash Mouth, Rise Against (finally – any have wished for them in the past few years), Flogging Molly, Interpol, The National (we told you about them yesterday), as well as the returning Gogol Bordello. The all-new Europe Stage will have performances by Verdena and Sohne Mannheims, while the World Music Main Stage has names like AfroCubsim, Eliades Ochoa, Kasse Mady Diabaté, Toumani Diabaté, Bassekou Kouyaté and Djelimady Tounkara. Also returning will be Gotan Project and Goran Bregovic. Ojos de Brujo, Les Hurlements d’ Leo and Debout Sur Le Zinc will be there, too. The festival will also be a treat for those going to A38/Wan2. marina and the Diamonds, Skunk Anansie and Hurts will be there, while the Party Arena will host names such as The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77, Crystal Castles and Hadouken!. Metal fans will be some of the happiest around. Judas Priest will say their farewell at the Metal Main Stage, and also playing will be the legendary Motorhead. LAst but not least, Sonata Arctica will play there, too. We think the lineup is already a fabulous one! What do you think, will Pulp headline? I think they will, and Chemical Brothers too, so there are 3 more headliner places left.
Not excited at all by this lineup. Hopefully main headliners have yet to be announced and I’m sure they are being kept hidden. Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Coldplay, U2, REM, The Strokes please?
