Some more good news for today. According to a Tweet on the Ostfest Twitter account, those of you arriving a few days earlier in Budapest for Sziget will get the chance to see Baskerville. The band is playing the official Sziget warm up party, on the A38 ship, on August 5. Ostfest is promoting Eastern Europe festivals, like Sziget, Volt, Exit, Balaton Sound or Kazantip Republic.
Some cool new names have been posted on the Sziget Italy official Facebook. First of all, there's Baskerville, returning to Sziget this year. Then, we have Dorian Concept, Hudson Mohawke and Overflow. On the speculation side, our friends still hope for Foo Fighters, since they're on the bill for PukkelPop on August 18. The official French Facebook page has announced some of the bands to play Sziget festival's Meduza electro stage this year. Sziget News already told you about some of these, including Flore feat. The official Dutch site lists another new and very interesting act for this year's Sziget line-up. We're talking about Dutch band Baskerville, set to play the Meduza stage this year. According to our friend Zmeer, "This is a very interesting project from 2 producers from Haarlem, The Netherlands, who are bringing a sound influenced by electro, hiphop, funk and rock. In April their first single "Ready To Blow" feat. Bob Rogers will be released." More details about them can be found on the Baskerville official website.
