dEUS, one of the bands playing Sziget Festival 2012, have a new album out today. It’s called Following Sea and you can already listen to it for free. The band is streaming the whole album (which is sold on the official website), on drownedinsound.com.
Two of the most important bands in the Sziget 2012 lineup so far have posted dates for Sziget on their official sites. Of course, they are in our Sziget 2012 lineup page, that’s constantly updated. According to the official website, Korn will be playing Sziget Festival 2012 on August 9. dEUS will play on August 8, their official website says. (thanks go to ohyeahfestivals)
The Sziget Italia Facebook has posted the official announcement, and it confirms what we told you a little while ago. The announcement also adds Magnetic Man. LMFAO are not in it, though. The list for today is: Korn dEUS The Vaccines Steve Aoki Axwell Magnetic Man Two Door Cinema Club Beatsteaks Caro Emerald Bebel Gilberto Ministry is also posted in the full list they have on the site. The Sziget Festival Official Facebook page says that more names will be announced soon. What do you think of the lineup so far?
UPDATE: Festivalinfo also adds Ministry (but we knew about them for a while), Bebel Gilberto, Axwell and The Vaccines. UPDATE: Sziget Italia says on Facebook that there was a problem and that the official announcement should follow shortly. They also say that some names have already surfaced via unofficial channels. Hopefully, there will be more. Even if the announcement was postponed for another hour, britishrock.cc has managed to get a hold of names to be announced. And it’s quite interesting, if Sziget confirms it. It starts with Korn, continues with dEUS (that we told you about a little while ago) and continues with LMFAO. Then,
Another big lineup announcement is expected today, as you all know. Ministry will almost certainly be part of it, and here’s the second name to self-confirm before the official announcement from the organizers. We’re talking about dEUS. The band has announced its presence at Sziget Festival 2012, via their Facebook page, linking to their official site. The date listed on the official site is August 8 (that could change, though; they have no dates until Sziget yet, so it could be on any day of the festival). We’re waiting for the big announcement later today! (thanks go to Rascal)
