Deadmau5 cancelled, Die Antwoord replaces Breakestra
Unfortunately, Deadmau5 won't be playing Sziget 2010 anymore. According to a message from the Deadmau5 management, [...] whilst performing onstage at the 9:30 club in Washington DC, deadmau5 collapsed, suffering exhaustion and vomiting. Medics at the venue took him directly to hospital where he is now under supervision deadmau5 is sad to advise his fans that on the strict advice of the doctors, he now has no choice but to cancel the next 9 shows of his Summer tour schedule to allow for his recovery. Danger @ Sziget 2010
An interesting change in the Sziget 2010 lineup for the Party Arena. A new and interesting name has appeared on the schedule for Saturday, August 14. French DJ Danger will play after Infected Mushroom, starting at 02:30. (thanks, PaaD) LATER UPDATE: a funny things is that, even if Danger is listed on the Sziget official site as playing at Sziget on August 14, his MySpace page lists an appearance in Oudeanaarde, Belgium on the same date.

808 State at the same time as Bloc Party!
Not a lot to tell you about in the past few days. Some interesting and maybe not so good news comes from our friend Mellowmaniac, quoting an e-mail from the Sziget press office. It seems that, if you wanted to see Bloc Party and 808 State, you won't be able to. They're both playing at the same time. 808 State is set to play sas the headliner of the Party Arena on August 13 (which means around 19:30), so it's about the same time as Bloc Party. British electronic legends 808 State will play at this year's Sziget Festival. 808 State are one of the electronic music outfits in Britain with the longest activity - the band has started making music in 1988, taking its name from the legendary Roland TR-808 Drum Machine. 808 State will play Sziget's Party Arena.

Good news for all of you planning to go to Sziget and dance all night. Sziget Festival's Spanish site confirms Carl Cox turning the tables at the Party Arena on the 15th. Also mentioned is Kymani Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, who will be playing the festival's World Music Stage.
